BUDDHA DEATH QUOTE
Without health life is not life; it is only a state of langour and suffering - an image of death. ~ Buddha
So sorry to hear of your mother's death. The Buddha's quote is a penetrating look at a situation many of us have to face and deal with many times. Unless you have had to face death, it is difficult to realize the truth of this statement.
Thanks, Yun Yi. I will take time--that is for sure. (I've got nothing but time... ;0) And there are comforting thoughts about her death. It's just so sudden and shocking.
I believe in time and am hanging onto that cure. My only 2 sisters died, but I think each death is different...with mothers it can be something so primitive, so deep, it is hard to understand.
Thank you so much for your caring and kind words. It means a lot to me!

good quote psachno! i totoally agree and my experience also proves this statement.
So nice of you to leave your comment. I was afraid these last 2 quote were too morbid--
My mother died last night of a heart attack. It was quick and sudden. She seemed strong and in a flash she was gone...

Thank you so much for your words of comfort! You are so kind. It often takes an older person to appreciate these kinds of phases in life...
How true are your words of wisdom!
Sorry for your lost. Please take time to recover from this. At least your mother left without much suffering. Time will cure everything. Take care!
